My wife and I allow our daughter to use our computer. That also means her friends use it too. We're tired of them downloading games and programs. How can we block them from being installed. We have Windows XP. ... set up a user account for your kids ... go to control panel select user accounts.. create a new account .. set up will walk you through it .. set kid account to limited .. this will make it so nothing can be down loaded also set a password for your account as you are the pc addminastrator and the you will have to log out after use to keep kids out this will also make it so you can have privet files that can not be seen and kids can not delet and of your file's this helps with files getting deleted by accadent
