what is the fastest way to transfer video files from 1 pc to another? i have a 3000mhgz amd athlon 64 bit pc and i just built the new amd 4200 x2 dual core and i would like to send files back and forth between the 2. i heard about the new 1394b firewire. and i do have 64 bit pci slots on both pc's. would that be the best way?
Your two fastest options that I can think of would be Ethernet and using a large portable hard drive using USB or Firewire. Gigabit Ethernet cards are becoming more readily available all the time. How far are the computers away from each other?
