I've got a Packard Bell M35-U-005 laptop that displays a message "usb not recognized" every time I'm trying to to plug an usb device to it. I've got two kinds of usb ports 1.1 and 2.0 none of them seems to be working. I've tried to reinstall the drivers in the device manager, reinstall windows and even update the BIOS but nothing is solving my problem.
youre problem is not reinstalling drives or the bios.
youre problem is more deep in to the first layers of commands for the OS to operate.this is often caused by a conflict of two actions you did with youre computer.
1 click start
2 clik accessories,then run
3 type regedit,ok
4 in the navigation pane find
HKEY-LOCAL-MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Class\{4D36E965-E325-11CE-BFC1-08002BE10318}
5 in the rigth side clik UpperFiltters
6 on the lower filters rigth clik to delete.when youre prompt to delete clik yes.
NOTE;if the lower filters you donot see.then this canot help you you must exitnow.
7 exit registry editor
8 restart youre computer
note: i recomend that if you have several software installed for media such music or dvds donot use all in the same sesion becouse they all use the same periferials or USB connections and they have thereown code of acces to those USB ports when this happend.the filters(code of acces)
lock the port with the RAM then the second softwares will override the previous filter by deleting the codein the matrix.then the OS skips one leyer and the DATA loose the direction,given by the previous code.this gets dumped in to a virtual space or people known as a blue screen or crash
